Part 2 and more

AND NOW IT`S TIME FOR THE WACKY MISADVENTURES OF MARISA IN JAPAN.

I have a visa. As in, I have a credit debit card. But that is not what this story is about. Nosiree.

My plane landed in Narita and I found Cynthia and Anne, blahblahblah. I get to customs (I was ahead of Cynthia and Anne so I went first) and the lady checks over my stuff and like yeah, it's all good.

"Do you have a visa?"

I was totally prepared for this :3

"No, I was told I didn't need one." ^-^ *holds up 1337 certificate of eligibility*

"Oh, well, you still need a visa."

Well.. shit. To tell the whole story, AYUSA had told me that I wouldn't need a visa because I had the certificate & I was staying for less than 90 days. I'm not as mad at them as I am baffled because it's like "Guys, haven't you done this before? Why is it an issue now?"

Anyway, they took us (The three girls) to a back room, took our visas, and left us there for like an hour. Then they explain that they did have to automatically deny landing permission but they gave us forms to apply for a visa right there, so we got it yay I'm officially in Japan.

There was some luggage hassle, especially on my part, but it's not that important enough to go into detail.

So Cynthia, Anne and I are carted off to the hotel where we meet Ms. Kurose, our coordinator. She's a sweet lady. We also meet two German students, Julian and Anne (pronounced ann-EH because she is just THAT cool. Cus seriously she is.) and we get settled and eat dinner together. Then we get roomed up, and I room with Anne (The American one) and we watch Detective Conan and Bleach and go to bed.

Also, Julian was hot. I think we all (Anne2, Cynthia and I) thought so. I have a picture somehwere, I will upload.

The girls woke up early that day (Deustch!Anne roomed with Cynthia, Julian got his own room) and we all went for a walk through Tokyo without really knowing if we were allowed to or not. We went to the convenience store and chilled, then we walked for about an hour around a nearby park and looked at the Sakura Trees (which are, at the moment, in full bloom) and we all got really close.

We then had orientation at AYUSA and learned somee extra Japanese and I kept falling asleep cuz of jetlag. Haha.

Anyway, I must stop now, I gotta help Tomoko-mama with the dishes. I will try to tell more of my story later. Ja ne!
